CM-8821CSI

Description

CM-8821CSI is a small size and low profile of WiFi + BT combo module with STAMP footprint,
board size is 12mm*20mm with module height of 1.9mm. It can be easily manufactured on SMT
process and highly suitable for tablet PC, ultra book, and mobile device and consumer products. It provides SDIO/SPI interface for WiFi to connect with host processor and high speed UART interface for BT. It also has a PCM interface for audio data transmission with direct link to external audio codec via BT controller. The WiFi throughput can go up to 433.3Mbpsin theory by using 1x1 802.11 ac/b/g/n MIMO technology and Bluetooth can support BT2.1+EDR/BT3.0 and BT4.2.

CM-8821CSI uses Realtek RTL8821CS, a highly integrated WiFi/BT single chip based on advanced COMS process. RTL8821CS Iintegrates whole WiFi/BT function blocks into a chip, such as SDIO/UART, MAC, BB, AFE, RFE, PA, EEPROM and LDO/SWR, except fewer passive components remained on PCB.

Highly integrated wireless local area network(WLAN) system-on-chip (SOC) for 5 GHZ 802.11ac, or 2.4G/5G 802.11n WLAN applications.
Supports low power SDIO3.0 interface for WLAN and UART/PCM interface for Bluetooth.
Supports Bluetooth V4.2+HS, BLE and be backwards compatible with Bluetooth 1.2, 2.X+ enhance data rate.
Supports WLAN-Bluetooth coexistence and ISM-LTE coexistence.
Supports Bluetooth for class1 and class2 power level transmissions without requiring an external PA.
BT host digital interface:
- PCM for audio data
- HCI UART (up to 4 Mbps)
